PVC Bow Instructions

Use the image and steps below to make a simple PVC bow.

Drill a hole for the string (PVC pipe)

Materials

  • 1/2" PVC pipe
  • String or Twine
  • Saw
  • Drill
  • Tape
  • Tape measure
  • Pencil
  • Scissors

Steps

  1. Cut the PVC pipe to the height of the person using the bow.
  2. Put tape on the middle part where your hands will hold the bow.
  3. Drill a hole in the side of the PVC pipe near each end.
  4. Now put the string through the hole you just drilled.
  5. Tie a knot in the end of the string by the hole.
  6. Now put the string without the knot on end through the other hole you just drilled.
  7. Tie a knot in the end of the string by the second hole.
  8. You can not test the bow by shooting a ruler
  9. Shorten the string and tie a new knot to make the bow shoot better
